August Garden Designs Ltd was created 11 years ago by Clive Mollart the company is now a collection of landscapers  musicians and artists whom collaborate on given projects to achieve a unique creative partnership.

About Clive Mollart

Award-winning designer Clive Mollart as featured on national and local media including BBC TV coverage along with articles and features in various horticultural publications and design magazines.

With over 35 years experience in the horticultural industry Clive studied horticulture and design at Reasheath College of Horticulture and Askham Bryan College of Horticulture.

Clive is a member of the Garden Designers of Cheshire and was responsible for the construction of their Gold Medal award winning Show Garden at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show 2003 which was also awarded Best In Show. Clive as designed and built many show gardens for the RHS before and since then which he greatly enjoys.

Garden workshops and tours are provided by Clive at Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire as well as talks for garden club and societies on the history and regeneration of the gardens at Trentham.


About Shaun Bailey

Shaun Bailey is a software developer and musician.With 24 years experience in the software industry, Shaun has worked as designer and architect on many large scale projects, ranging from operating system development to web-based applications, and most things in between.

As a guitarist and electronic musician, Shaun has been writing, performing and recording since the early 1980s. Starting with portable 4-track recorders, analog synthesisers and hardware sequencers, he moved on to use 16 and then 24-track tape machines before 'going digital'.Despite being immersed in new technology he still maintains that guitar amplifiers should contain lots of valves.He also has a degree in Physics from the University of Leeds.


About Tim Potts

Tim completed a Foundation Course in Art and Design before graduating from North Staffordshire Polytechnic with a degree in Fine Art Sculpture in 1985. 

As a freelance Designer and Sculptor, Tim has worked with most of the major companies in the Ceramics industry. He has forged close links with Bentley Motors in recent years, working in the Styling Department on 3-D concept models and redesigning and sculpting the iconic Flying B emblem. 

Tim creates sculptures in a variety of materials, such as cement, steel and bronze, and has collaborated with August Garden Designs on their award-winning gardens at the RHS Tatton Show. He also lectures part-time at Staffordshire University on their Product and Automotive Design courses.
