Our Interactive Sound Products
All products are pre-installed with our standard interactive sound scape configuration. A sound design service is available for all of our products to suit your specific aims and theraputic requirments.

Each product can be developed to suit your needs, or if you wish, you can create your own interactive sound installation using our full design service please contact us if you require further information.

Sound Wall

RHS2010/Sensorywebhomepage.jpg This is our most popular design and ideally suited for a sensory garden or community space, the standard dimensions are 4 m wide and 2 m in height, of block construction and rendered, each of the 12 slots is 250 mm x 150 mm with a sensor set within a waterproof perspex box housing.

The standard sensors used with this installation are -

1. Infrared Red, Distance or proximity sensors which respond to hand movement.
2. Capacitive sensors which respond to hand proximity.
3. Vibration sensors which respond to hand contact.

The hardware required to produce the sound-scape is securely sited within a lockable GRP waterproof cabinet sited close to the wall, the cabinet is temperure controlled to keep the hardware dry and working within a ideal optimum temperature. Industry standard waterproof omni surround speakers are used to provide optimum sound quality.

Half sized sound wall

The Sound Wall is also available as a smaller version which is
2 m wide and 2 m in height with 8 sensor slots 4 of which hold sensors this configuration can be upgraded to a full 8 sensors at a later stage.

Connection to the site domestic supply is required.

Sound Slab

Ideally suited for sensory rooms or the class room the Sound Slab uses the same technology as the Sound Wall. Designed for inside use the perspex slab dimensions are
85 cm x 85 cm x 23 cm and can be supplied in a variety colours.

The hardware required to create our unique interactive soundscapes is set within the body of the unit which is accessible by a lockable door to the rear of the unit. The unit is supplied with seperate speakers, alternativly the hardware can be adapted to connect to an existing sound system via a wireless audio connection which is easily configured.

The unit is supplied with a three pin plug for connection to a standard 240 v supply.

Pulse Sound Sculpture

Developed by sound artist echomap Pulse is a resin sculpture that is ideally suited for corporate reception areas or galleries.

Using the same technology as the Sound Wall, interaction with the sculpture is by touch or hand movement creating soundscapes based upon sounds specific designed and produced to compliment the art work.

Standing at approx 70cm high the sculpture sits upon a plinth which is 90 cm in height and 60 cm square, in which the hardware technology required to create the soundscapes is housed.

The sculpture can be connected to an existing sound system by a wireless audio system, alternativly the sculpture can be fitted with separate speakers.
