Who says we won`t be ready on time !!

We left our intrepid show garden builders creating the main structure of the garden in climbing summer temperatures we are now on the last week of build where excavation of the planting profiles begins and  importing top soil to raise the sloping plot by 200cm.

Our pyramids are delivered on site and we are awaiting delivery of our plants, at this point we are now on schedule.

Plants arrived from Spanish Plants on time on time yippee !! the fun now begins. We did have the choice of a earlier delivery which it seems most other show gardens went for, but we felt the plants would fair best waiting in their green house until the time we were ready to plant and there was less chance of us tripping over the things in our limited build space plus in the heat which was now 28 degrees watering 3 times a day was needed !.

Plants off loaded I set to putting our pyramids together.

2013_0702AAThe pyramids are constructed from a timber frame base and apex set within a aluminium frame onto which the resin and glass panel sit simple idea which worked well.

Now at day 10 of the build and the chimerics are now being installed,  Clive Scott as arrived on site to start planting plus the turf and mulch also delivered ready for use, the garden is now taking shape.

2013_0704AB3 days to go before the assessors arrive on the garden, we need to get the planting and mulch in at least before then, the sound and lights are to go in next.
